Hi Testudo! Congratulations for the blog! We are a couple from Argentina planning to visit Cayman in january. We love diving but I am pregnant now so we only can snorkeling. We were thinking about staying at the turtle nes inn because of the reef house do you think is a good option or is better the reef resort and move for snorkeling??? THANK YOU!!!!
AnonymousEither the Reef Resort or Turtle Nest Inn will provide for good snorkeling right from the beach. Since it will be January, the water conditions may favor the Turtle Nest Inn on more days.
Both are fairly close to the better snorkeling areas on the north shore, but again the winter water conditions may limit your activities over there.
